PGA of Canada Teaching Professional

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, David graduated from the University of Hanyang with a physical education degree. This degree covered topics such as sports science, sports psychology, coaching theory, training methodology, and teaching methods of sports.

Before coming to Canada, David started his golf career at the Rainbow Golf School in Seoul. He then spent two years in Sydney, Australia teaching and playing golf. In 2015 David joined the Canadian PGA and has since been helping golfers improve their game from the practice facilities at the Redwoods.

David's goal is to find as many new ways as possible to make learning fun; since every golfer is different, each of his students should be taught differently in a way that best suits them. His skill as a teacher comes from his understanding of several different methods, and his ability to identify the perfect method and style for each of his students.
